This is the first round of the Student Innovator of the Year (SIOY) competition; run by BYU’s Venture Factory, hosted by School of Engineering & Technology, and sponsored by the Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology. Each team in the competition will have a booth to show off their innovation. The top teams will be selected to move on to the finals. Don’t miss out on the chance to see all of the cool innovations coming out of BYU!

This is it. The best and brightest innovators are going head-to-head, competing for tens of thousands of dollars in prize money and the title of ‘Student Innovator of the Year!’ Come see what the finalists have produced after months of hard work, and help the judges by voting for your favorite innovations. The first 100 audience members to arrive will receive a free J-Dawg and all audience members will have the chance to win t-shirts and the following prizes: an iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, iPod touch, an apple TV and an iPad.
